Terms of Use

Last Updated: September 13, 2026
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of PrepLuv, including the PrepLuv website, student accounts, trial access, paid exam preparation plans, practice questions, rationales, study materials, analytics, and related services. By accessing or using PrepLuv, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Acceptance of These Terms
PrepLuv, LLC, referred to in these Terms as PrepLuv, we, us, or our, provides online occupational therapy and occupational therapy assistant board exam preparation services through prepluv.com and related web-based services. These Terms apply to all visitors, trial users, students, account holders, and purchasers.
You agree to follow these Terms whenever you access the website, create an account, start a trial, purchase a plan, use practice questions, view rationales, access study materials, or use any related PrepLuv feature. PrepLuv may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be effective when posted unless a different effective date is stated.

Eligibility
PrepLuv is intended for users who are at least 18 years old and are preparing for occupational therapy or occupational therapy assistant exams or related educational goals. By using PrepLuv, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to agree to these Terms.

Accounts and Security
You may need to create an account to access certain features. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your login credentials confidential, and promptly update account information when necessary. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account unless caused by PrepLuv's own security failure.
You must notify PrepLuv promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. PrepLuv may suspend or restrict access if we believe an account is being misused, shared improperly, used for prohibited conduct, or used in a way that threatens the security or integrity of the service.

Plans Access and Payments
PrepLuv may offer free trial access and paid plans, including Silver, Gold, and Diamond plans for OT and OTA users. Paid plans currently provide a defined access period of 90 days unless a different period is clearly stated at checkout. Access does not automatically renew unless PrepLuv later offers and you separately agree to an automatic renewal option.
Prices, features, access percentages, and included materials may vary by plan and may change for future purchases. A change to future pricing or future plan features does not change the access period already purchased unless required by law or expressly stated by PrepLuv.
Payments may be processed by Stripe or another third-party payment processor. By making a purchase, you authorize the payment processor to charge the payment method you provide for the selected plan, applicable taxes, and any fees disclosed at checkout. Payment processor terms and privacy policies may also apply.

Refunds and Expiration
Unless PrepLuv states a different refund policy at checkout or is required by law, purchases are final and non-refundable once access is provided. If you believe you were charged in error, contact PrepLuv promptly at contact@prepluv.com so the issue can be reviewed.
When your trial or paid access period ends, your access to paid materials, practice questions, exams, analytics, or other restricted features may expire. You may need to purchase a new access period to continue using paid features.

Permitted Use
PrepLuv is provided for your personal, non-commercial study use. You may use the service to prepare for exams, review materials, complete practice questions, and monitor your own study activity. You may not use PrepLuv for a competing business, institutional copying, resale, unauthorized training, or redistribution unless PrepLuv gives written permission.

Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:

  • share, sell, rent, transfer, or allow another person to use your account;

  • copy, screenshot, scrape, download, reproduce, distribute, publish, or resell PrepLuv questions, rationales, videos, podcasts, flashcards, study documents, or other materials except as expressly allowed by PrepLuv;

  • reverse engineer, bypass security, interfere with the website, overload systems, or use bots, crawlers, scrapers, automated tools, or data extraction methods;

  • upload malware, harmful code, unlawful content, infringing content, misleading information, or material that violates another person's rights;

  • attempt to access another user's account, non-public systems, admin tools, databases, source code, or restricted portions of the service;

  • misrepresent your identity, affiliation, exam status, or relationship with PrepLuv;

  • use PrepLuv to violate any law, regulation, academic integrity rule, testing rule, or third-party right;

  • use PrepLuv content to build, train, improve, benchmark, or operate a competing question bank, exam prep product, tutoring product, artificial intelligence system, or study platform without written permission.

PrepLuv Content and Intellectual Property
PrepLuv and its licensors own the website, platform, question bank, answer choices, rationales, explanations, study materials, videos, podcasts, flashcards, documents, graphics, logos, design, software, features, and all related intellectual property. Except for the limited personal access granted by your plan, no ownership rights are transferred to you.
You may not copy, modify, publish, display, distribute, sell, create derivative works from, or exploit PrepLuv content without written permission. PrepLuv reserves all rights not expressly granted in these Terms.

User Content and Feedback
If you submit messages, support requests, comments, feedback, suggestions, survey responses, or other content to PrepLuv, you represent that you have the right to submit it. You allow PrepLuv to use that information to operate, support, protect, and improve the service, respond to you, and develop future features, consistent with the Privacy Policy.
Feedback and suggestions are voluntary and may be used by PrepLuv without compensation, attribution, or obligation to implement them.

Educational Purpose and No Exam Guarantee
PrepLuv provides educational exam preparation support. PrepLuv is not NBCOT, is not an official licensing or certification authority, and does not issue professional credentials. PrepLuv does not guarantee that using the service will result in passing any exam, achieving any score, obtaining certification, receiving licensure, securing employment, or meeting any school, employer, or licensing board requirement.
Practice scores, analytics, average time per question, recent exam scores, rationales, domain information, topic information, and other study indicators are for preparation and self-review only. They are not official exam results and should not be treated as a promise of actual exam performance.

Third Party Services and Links
PrepLuv may rely on third-party services for payment processing, hosting, authentication, email, analytics, storage, support, and other operational needs. PrepLuv may also link to third-party websites or resources. Third-party services are controlled by their own providers and may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Privacy
PrepLuv's collection and use of personal information is described in the PrepLuv Privacy Policy. By using PrepLuv, you acknowledge that PrepLuv may process information as described in the Privacy Policy.

Suspension and Termination
PrepLuv may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms, misused the service, shared account access, infringed intellectual property, threatened platform security, failed to pay amounts due, or used the service in a way that may harm PrepLuv, other users, or third parties.
Termination or expiration of access does not cancel provisions that should reasonably survive, including intellectual property restrictions, payment obligations, disclaimers, limits of liability, dispute provisions, and any rights or obligations that arose before termination.

Service Changes and Availability
PrepLuv may modify, update, suspend, discontinue, or limit any part of the service, including content, features, plans, pricing, and availability. PrepLuv will try to operate the service reliably, but we do not guarantee that the service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or compatible with every device or browser.

Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PrepLuv is provided on an as is and as available basis. PrepLuv disclaims all warranties, express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and reliability.

Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PrepLuv and its owners, employees, contractors, service providers, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill, exam-related losses, business interruption, or unauthorized access to information, even if advised of the possibility of those damages.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PrepLuv's total liability for any claim relating to the service or these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid to PrepLuv for the access period giving rise to the claim, or one hundred dollars, whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some limits may not apply to you.

Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PrepLuv and its owners, employees, contractors, service providers, and affiliates from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your misuse of the service, violation of these Terms, violation of law, infringement of rights, or content you submit.

Disputes Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law rules, unless another law is required to apply. If a dispute is not resolved informally, the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California will have exclusive jurisdiction, unless applicable law requires a different forum.
Before filing a claim, you agree to contact PrepLuv at contact@prepluv.com and give PrepLuv a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue informally. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking relief in small claims court if the claim qualifies.

Changes to These Terms
PrepLuv may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, PrepLuv may provide notice by email, account notice, website posting, or other reasonable method. Continued use of PrepLuv after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

General Terms
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any checkout terms or plan-specific terms presented by PrepLuv, form the agreement between you and PrepLuv regarding the service. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining parts will remain in effect. PrepLuv's failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without PrepLuv's written consent. PrepLuv may assign these Terms as part of a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, reorganization, or other business transfer.
